I was thinking the same thing. Except for the whole sprinting to the bathroom thing. 😀

I'd form a search party but I can't leave and it doesn't sound like John can either. mr-green

Maybe they're doing A LOT of cleanup?

Or maybe the zombies got them during the eclipse?! 😯

Jeff just texted and said He's driving back. No word on why they are running late.

Um...what?

Couldn't have been that much work. Must have been a breakdown. Strawberry can take it's toll on the unsuspecting.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

I'm so frustrated I missed it. I rotated my tires yesterday to be ready for today. I think messing with my tires is what threw my back out. I hope they took pictures.

Heard from Joe! He just got off the trail on the 88 side a short time ago and asked if Morman Emigrant was open
to save time coming home 😯 Told him it was closed. It's gonna be a long night for him and a few others that were with him 🙁

I thought there was too much snow to get from 50 to 88. I guess the trail was open all the way through. It burns.. 😕

5 rigs including Joe went home the 88 route. Thought it would be faster. The rest of us went back down the trail and home on the 50.

No major trail damage to anyone. We just hit a few spots with some deep snow. Also V rock slowed the group some.

Haha, It's never faster to go home on 88. That's a looooong way around.

Got home about 9:30. We ran into a couple of ruff spots with snow and ice. Next time I'll turn around rather than going 88, that is a long twisty way back.

We were at the overlook. It sure seemed that catching the highway would have been faster.
