I looked a lot like Frankenstien yesterday. That's what I get for trying to hug a tree . . . . .
It's a little sore, but is healing pretty nicely now.
One little dead tree hits me in the face and then you in the face within 20 seconds. Sounds like a UFC tree!

What are you nuts???????
I showed Kelly and she said that she is crossing Stawberry off the list of trails she is willing to run. 😀 I suggested that she just skip riding with George. Of course, I guess I'm still the only one in the club with a true flop to my name. That sissy stuff Rob and Justin did on the Rubicon only gets half credit.

So here is the question of the day. Do we need to set up another work day up on the trail to do some more work? I have most sundays off and can be available to do it. I have a chain saw with a 23 inch bar.

Your saw is big enough to cut every tree we need, except one. I am for setting up another work day. We need to cut two trees all the way over on the other side (beyond our trail responsibility limit), and then close the bypass just past the part where we had the winchfest in the snow. That area will require a lot of cutting and dragging. There are a lot of trees up there so it shouldn't be too bad.
Separate note. Lee ground off his Spyder gears in the front end on this last run. So, Strawberry did claim another driver. He is fixed however. Scott at Extreme really helped him out!

Shoot...forget dragging them out of the way...I'll get a fire wood permit, bring the truck, and you all can cut firewood for me. 8) 😀
I thought of that but I'm not sure my Excursion would get through Squeeze Rock without adding some serious Sliders.

Anyone want to join us?
Have him cut the HUGE tree you go around way up top into 3' sections. We can move it later!
The tree is almost 5' in diameter.
Post some pics when you get it cut up.

Got any pics of it now so we are sure to cut in the right spot.
You can't miss it if you are going all the way across. It's 5 feet tall on its side, blocks the whole trail, and has a by-pass around it on the right, if heading to 88.
Hope this helps you find it. Again, it's way up top, past V-rock, pinch rock, and the two main water crossings.

It is clear. It sits across the whole trail. If you are unsure about any tree, don't cut it. It's better safe than sorry.
