Strawberry Pass Trail will be re-opening tomorrow to the public!  Im a little frustrated that we didn't get any advanced warning but Im just happy it is done.  We will be reviewing the trail management objectives with the forest service soon.

Why not ask the forest service to one of our meetings for pizza & discussion about those objectives, so everyone can listen & possibly have some input?

I for sure will but my guess is the objectives will likely be all basic "clean up trash" and "move downed trees" type check the box on their form.  What we can do is set internal objectives for the trail that the forest service doesn't have a standard form for.

What about the possibility of creating more equally technical challenging areas of the trail over more of the trail length? In other words, don't make the level of difficulty of the trail more difficult, but increase the percentage of the trail that is difficult.

Sounds good Kris; if you can get that form, bring it to the next meeting, regardless if the FS attends or not, so we know what the form doesn't include.
