That's kind of what I said....... Boy, go and resign and just get tossed to the curb. You said Honda Civic. That would get stuck on the first patch of snow.
You haven't seen my oldest drive his Honda Civic.....
If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

Not sure how far we usually go past the reservoir...We've done it before by going as far as the least capable vehicle can make it without getting stuck, find a large area or turn out, then set up camp. 🙂
If all the vehicles are pretty capable then not as far.
My 2¢

Hahaha, I was unclear. The "not sure how far we usually go past the reservoir" was related to the weather forecast location. NOAA lets you select a point location for the forecast so I checked just past the reservoir and about 3/4 the way up towards 88.

Kris, check out the Gallery "2014-03-02 Iron MT. road patrol". There is a pic looking down the road at a "small car" coming up the road. Past that spot there was no pavement showing. Gives you a idea of about where we made camp on that one. There is not a "set spot" we just go until we find a good wide spot. The snow patrol before that seems like we went almost 10 miles further up. Just depends on "the conditions" Nothing to worry about.
If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.
