That's kind of what I said....... https://posse4x4.org/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/Confused.png Boy, go and resign and just get tossed to the curb. https://posse4x4.org/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/Winking.png

You said Honda Civic. That would get stuck on the first patch of snow. https://posse4x4.org/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/Tongue.png

You haven't seen my oldest drive his Honda Civic.....sweating

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

Hi everyone! My name is David Gee and I came to the last meeting, after meeting Brad at the Toy Run, with the intention of joining the Club. I plan on joining you this Saturday with 1, maybe 2, of my sons. Are we to meet at the Subway in Pollock Pines? Time?

Yes David @ Pollock Pines Subway 6529 Pony Express Trail Pollock Pines CA 95726 at 8:30 am and about 9:00am we will caravan up to Iron Mt. Rd. Look forward to seeing you on the run with us.

Wow you going on a run, we have not been on a run with you.

Yes, the Samurai is planning on getting it's wheels in the snow.

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

Not sure how far we usually go past the reservoir...

We've done it before by going as far as the least capable vehicle can make it without getting stuck, find a large area or turn out, then set up camp. 🙂

If all the vehicles are pretty capable then not as far.

My 2¢

Hahaha, I was unclear. The "not sure how far we usually go past the reservoir" was related to the weather forecast location. NOAA lets you select a point location for the forecast so I checked just past the reservoir and about 3/4 the way up towards 88.

Kris, check out the Gallery "2014-03-02 Iron MT. road patrol". There is a pic looking down the road at a "small car" coming up the road. Past that spot there was no pavement showing. Gives you a idea of about where we made camp on that one. There is not a "set spot" we just go until we find a good wide spot. The snow patrol before that seems like we went almost 10 miles further up. Just depends on "the conditions" Nothing to worry about.

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

Weather update: storm seems to be shifting its path a bit but accelerating. Current forecast has most of the snow fall done by 10AM and tapering off into the afternoon.

Woo potluck, i will check with my better half and see what we are brining.

Current tally is:

-Darrel & Jill
-k-jeep
-Pivitil
-Specialsoundman
-Bretjk07
-Gil & Betty
-davesjk
-scoped
-and me

Maybe list:
-Guy & Lynda (depending on work schedule)
-Greg (showing up late?)
-rich (if healthy)

I would put current head count at 15-20 for potluck planning purposes
