1/2 Day run Sunday January 1stAre we doing one? Where should we go? Should we try to get up Signal peak? Ideas?
We went up to play in the snow yesterday. We visited both the Eagle Lakes exit and Cisco Grove. The road is closed for access to Signal Peak from Cisco Grove. However, the road was open at Eagle Lakes. Since I we were alone we did not venture up the trail from the parking lot. It looked very passable with only light snow. After that point it is anyone's guess. The snow cover is not very deep. It was very hard to find a good place to get the sleds out and have some fun. We did go for a fairly long drive down Eagle Lakes Road. It was very pretty... We are likely not going to be able to make it on the 1st. If that should change we will let you know.

Do we think there is snow at Sack Paddle Pass? We could go from Sack Paddle Pass to Silver Fork up to MET and then play around there. Meet at Fresh Pond at 8am?
8am?! Don't you sleep?!
Let's meet at 8:30am in Fresh Pond and head out by 9am.
This will be a whole run on 1/1 and not a half run on 1/2.
We can head up to Packsaddle Pass and see how far we get. Or Sackpaddle Pass if we follow Greg.
