Offline So those of you that will be able to go this Saturday OK with going ahead and meeting at the Pollock Pines Subway at 8:30 then if there is no snow (most likely) decide then a run destination? I'd like to get out "somewhere" does someone know any trails off of Iron Mountain Rd. we could explore? that would be fun to find a new trail. Or we could go up and play around Loon lake, (just it would take me awhile to get there) that might be challenging on the granite if it's raining , or do the loon to Wentworth loop.
Or just cancel the whole thing?

Offline No snow is predicted for this week, yet again. I should have my tires ready friday but I need to evaluate trimming and bumpstops set up before a real run.

Know any off shoots of Iron Mt rd. that are "mello" or we could just cruise around the granite at loon lake staging area? any other Hwy 50 trails close to Pollock Pines?

Offline I'm thinking "mello" like Prarie city since I'll need to carry extra tools so I can adjust everything and get it done in one shot.
Bummer. I think the Chili cook off is Sunday, correct?

Yes Chili Cook off is Sunday, that's why I picked Saturday.
Prairie City would be good, will it be muddy out there if it rains? Would everyone be OK with going there?

Offline With the "storm" thats rolling in, I asked Lori to see what Kyle thought about possible snow. She said it was 70 degrees at 7:30am in Placerville and when she did ask Kyle started laughing.
So Prairie City it is......
