This past weekend no one was capable of making it to the top yet.

What money?

Um...what?

Are there any updates on Signal Peak?  I was thinking of taking a ride up there this weekend.  Has anybody been able to make it to the top going up the difficult side?

Thanks!

Yes, It has officially been rescheduled for August 19th.  I wish it could be sooner but there are other events happening that interfere.

I will update the main post.

can anyone recommend a campground in the general vicinity of signal peak? I promised to take the kiddos camping on that weekend, so we are going to stay somewhere not too far away and join the club for this run.

I figured that would be the least crowded. Sounds good, I'll be bringing the wife along.

Greg, I will be there but my son Brian will be backpacking so please take him off of your list. I'm still in for the hard side and possibly the five dollar run.

is anyone else staying at the cisco grove campground? I promised to take the kids camping, so will prob stay there FRI and SAT nights. So if you were hoping for a quiet, relaxing, peaceful experience, remember to avoid the diesel suburban with kids swarming in/around it. . . .

He's going to Desolation wilderness this weekend. He normally has Fridays off so he might be headed up Friday. Lots of smoke from the fire up that way today.

For those who are not doing the five dollar trail, what time are you planning to get there? I was thinking it might be fun to get together a little early and do a picnic dinner before the run. To keep it simple, we could all bring our own food and meet somewhere scenic and peaceful for a picnic style dinner. Any takers?
