For those who are not doing the five dollar trail, what time are you planning to get there? I was thinking it might be fun to get together a little early and do a picnic dinner before the run. To keep it simple, we could all bring our own food and meet somewhere scenic and peaceful for a picnic style dinner. Any takers?

this is a great idea.  i will try.  my plan is to leave sacramento about 9:30am saturday after my son's event.  I'm going to try and catch up to Kris and the others at Ellis Peak.  Afterwards I was planning on going into Truckee for lunch before signal peak. Would love to meet up with you guys if possible.  please text me your # to 916-674-2016 so that we can try and get together

Thanks Gil!  We miss you folks too.  All is good with us just very busy this summer.  I was so pleased when the Signal Peak Run was postponed as we were going to miss the first one due to our daughters graduation.  Then the date for the new run was posted and it is on Paula's dad's 85th birthday.  Family first for sure... Just can't wait to go wheeling with you folks again.  September and October are looking better I hope.  Take care and enjoy a great event this weekend!

I'm a game time decision. Taking my daughter to the water park today. If she up for it after, I'll bring her up and take the easy side.

I'm out. Or I should say she's out, literally. She fell asleep not long after we got home from the water park.

Jeff and Greg,

Thanks for a great evening, the whole family had fun and the weather was absolutely perfect.

A special thanks to Sierra LED for sponsoring and donating the light bar and JK brackets.

Now mine and Greg's Jeeps will be even more alike. throw-rock

What a great time! Thank u Greg and Jeff for putting this on.  The whole event was perfect.

We second DF's comments regarding the sponsors.  Tell Brandon we appreciate him and Sierra LED.  (We recently bought cube lights from them and when we mentioned HS4X4 they knew yall well!)
