This is a casual day run, but there are some requirements below.
Meeting in Georgetown at the market, 830 AM. We will plan to leave by 9AM.
Please try to spend a few bucks at the market and/or gas station to support local businesses.
Time permitting we will stop for lunch somewhere in the snow and relax to enjoy the end of winter.
Requirements are simple!
Have an air system of some type to air down and up.
Have both front and rear recovery points.
Have at least 1 locker
Have 1 strap with you.
Do post up if you plan to attend so we know to look for you!

Brad, can you explain the potential route? More specifically, where in Crystal Basin and what route back? Thanks!
The plan is to drive over wentworth springs road into Crystal basin (staying on the main unplowed road only).
I was up there a week ago. It's only about 2-3 miles between where I got and the plowed Loon Lake road, allowing us to return back via that route to hwy 50.

I'm hopefully in.Brad, can you shoot me a text to 916-671-4519 (or any of you for that matter!) so that I have a way to get ahold of someone if plans change?
I'm going to try to purchase some form of air system today. If I can't find anything, are there any other options we can work out?

I can bring an extra air compressor and hose that you can use or I can air you up when done. Airing down is not a problem either.

I am in with two kids!
You mean four kids? You forgot Kat and Lynda sliding down the snow covered hill. Thanks Brad for organizing and leading the run. I think it exceeded everyone's expectations. Your Bronco was awesome and as expected, you and your new rig did great in the snow. The snow was challenging but doable. We made to Icehouse Road and back via Hwy 50 as planned. We got to tug a few of our stuck rigs when needed so it made it fun and a learning opportunity as well. Another great day with the Posse family.

Thank you everyone for participating. 6 rigs - 13 people.
It was great weather and perfect conditions. Only had a couple stuck conditions but nothing major. No breakage and no damage.
Nic was a first timer and did great. I hope this is his first of many times doing snow runs!
Our only limitation was a lack of radio communications but at least Jeff and John had hand helds for the front and rear - which helped alot.
This was a fantastic day and look for another run thread to be posted soon. Thanks everyone!
Oh, we didn't have snow shoeing this day - but can plan for it on a next run where we plan to spend most of the day out. So Jeff, let Kathy know!
