I received an email (text below in blue) from Ranger Lester Lubetkin of the ENF. He received interest from a club called "Trout Unlimited" to explore some lower elevation high clearance dirt roads in the El Dorado National Forest. Might be a good opportunity for some mild wheeling and be turned on to some little known fishing holes. Daddy/Daughter or Father/Son type run???
Would the Gold Hills Posse be interested in an outing with a few members from the local chapter of Trout Unlimited? This would be along the lines that we spoke of to provide an “alternative” traveling some of the high clearance dirt roads in the lower elevations of the Forest, exploring fishing locations or ?? If you think there is interest, I can connect you with John Sikora from the local chapter – he asked within their club and there was interest in doing something together. Let me know if there is interest and I will put you together with John.
Please let me know if there is interest.

Carl: Awesome!
Kevin: I'm not sure what roads/trails they're thinking of yet but I suspect a stock Jeep would do just fine. We'll know know more when Ranger Lester puts us in contact with Trout Unlimited. I also suspect if you want to fish, you'll fish! Between all of us, we can put together enough gear that everyone can fish.
John: Not sure yet. PM me your super secret spot and I'll tell you if that's where we're going... 8)
