This is run towards the Bay Area that will require some driving. The plan is to meet up with others in Cordelia at 8AM, and then more people who are camping Friday night at Knoxville.
We should plan to meet in Southsac to leave at 7AM. There is a Valero and restaurant at the last off ramp leave Sacramento on 80 towards Davis. You can eat at the restaurant, or meet up and go.
We'll meet in Cordelia at Starbucks next to Chevron at 8AM. Knoxville is just over an hour from the Cordelia location.

This is a decent drive to some place we've never been.
Directions: From the town of Lower Lake go east on Morgan Valley Road 13 miles to the north entrance to Knoxville at Dunnigan Hill Road (this access not recommended for two-wheel drive vehicles beyond Round Mountain Road). Continue three miles further on Morgan Valley Road for the south entrance to Knoxville at the intersection with Devilhead Road (southeast of the McLaughlin Mine crushing plant). There are BLM signs at both entrances.
CAUTION: There are 4-5 lower water crossings located on the Lake Berryessa-Knoxville Road north of Lake Berryessa that may restrict access to the Knoxville entrances from the south.
Please reply if interested.

Looks like I'll have to miss this one.
Due to some delays I've only had the Jeep for one night in the past 2 1/2 weeks and lost three Jeep working weekends in a row. I should finally have it back on Monday or Tuesday. First delay was with the axle install and my Jeep stayed at 4 Wheel Parts for the 1st weekend. Got it back on a Thursday evening and then brought it over to JC Performance Friday morning for the front gear installation. The previous front gear installation (done by 4 Wheel Parts in Portland, OR) was shoddy and took Jason longer to complete so it stayed there for the second weekend. After talking more with Jason, I decided to have him order my new drive line (from Drive Line Services of Sacramento) and also install a traction bar for the D60. The D60 was advertised as coming with a 1350 yoke. Neither of us double checked and it turned out to be a 1310 yoke but the drive line was already made for the 1350 (doh!). Called 4 Wheel Parts and they were able to get a 1350 sent at no charge but it took 2 more days. Picked up the 1350 yoke Friday and brought it over to JC Performance. It was a 1350 but with straps. Jason was able to swap it and the 1310 for a 1350 u-bolt style yoke. He's also going to double checking the pinion angle so he needed the drive line installed before starting on the traction bar. He's also going to weld in my transfer case support bracket (for the Stak) when he installs the traction bar. It's still there for the third weekend. (I don't mind waiting and having it done right. 😀 )
Things I have remaining once I get it back are... replace rear main seal (oil is leaking there), install oil pan and transmission skids, replace all spring bushings, and replace all spring bushing bolts and sleaves with larger grade 8 greasable bolts and sleaves. I broke one of the grade 5 greasable bolts. I'm also replacing the zerks on the bolts with flush style zerks since just about all of the zerks on my old bolts are bent or gone.
The End.
