OfflineHow true that is, but a summer amongst Covid-19 in the construction industry is critical, based on selective opportunities. Barrett trail takes priorities in my mind, but reality may be another matter. I still am on the fence, but looks promising if Thursday (10/8) works with everyone who can participate.

I'm planning on doing the overnight run. I invited Jeff, the guy who installed my Atlas transfer case, and he is going to see if his friend with an 05 Rubicon might want to go too. Jeff would be a great addition to our club.
Awesome Jeff. Looking forward to it. My buddy Keith is getting his lockers installed and will be joining us for the overnight.

OfflineWell, bad news folks. I went to the Highlanders website and there is a notice dated today, September 30th stating that the trail has been closed early for the season due to fire danger. As is was, there would not be any overnight camping allowed because it is in the Eldorado National Forest. Bummer.

Jeff is absolutely correct. Unfortunately, 2020 continues to fail us. Hopping for better times for everyone soon. I will cancel this trip on the calendar and hopefully get on this trail next season. Thanks for everyone had planned to participate.

Since this run had to be canceled and since there is no overnight camping allowed, is anyone interested in doing a Rubicon day run or Thursday or Friday of the same week or on some other trail?
I will be up for something. I haven't been out since Slick Rock last year. I think I found all my stuff after the move.
