Reed and I are looking at going camping/fishing in two weeks targeting (10/26 - 10/27) Nothing is finalized.
We are bringing a couple of Reed's friends along. The boys are primarily wanting to fish, wheel, and hang out.
I am thinking either Buck Island (middle of the Rubicon) or Golden Lake (Near Sierra City). I'm curious if anyone would be interested in going.
You will need to be prepared for some cold weather. It drops down pretty low at night.

There is now 6 people in our party. Two dads and 4 boys. We are rolling out Saturday morning or if we get a wild hair Friday night after the football game. The plan is to be packed and ready to roll before the football game and decide how tired we are after the game. We are camping at Buck island and will be serving pulled pork sandwiches Saturday night. If you want in let me know so we know to look for you.

Jeff and I met up with Jason and crew Saturday evening. We had a good time and enjoyed good food and great company. We left Sunday morning where we all exited via Tahoe.

Reed is number 33. He plays defensive end/ line backer and backup half back. It was a good game go GB!
The trip this weekend was awesome. We left Saturday morning around 7a and by 2p we had arrived at Buck Island had pitched the tent and cut and stacked firewood 4ft high. The boys went fishing for about 4 hours and caught some rainbow trout that we fried for appetizers. We exited via Tahoe Lake and were home by 5p on Sunday. Everyone had a great time!
