It appears that a second batch of permits are available online. In person permits will also be available once the government returns to work.

Not a regular or firm thing as the Holiday's are very difficult to plan around. If you want to lead a run into a different forest you are more than welcome to set one on the calendar and provide a link to the permits for the club.
I think I have only led one of these successfully with Club turnout and that was a few years before Caldor fire. I have also gotten tree permits from Mendo and Tahoe NFs in the past and led with friends but only ever one or two from the club so not enough for the run to count.
