This is not a 4wd required event.
Camp out at Lake Minden. Located in Nicholas, at 1256 Marcum Rd.
We have group site C reserved. This area will accommodate RVs, cars, trucks, whatever! We have the two horseshoe pits, running water, picnic tables, charcoal bbqs, and lots of grass.
There are camping fees for this trip.
$5 per day for day visits
$25 per nite for camping.
This location has showers, real restrooms, and other amenities.
Saturday has candy bar bingo for the kids, and an ice cream sunday bar for everyone!
There is a snack bar on site and a small restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. Menu items are 5 bucks or less!
There is no required time there. Simply come and go as your schedule permits. The hope is to play horseshoes and some croquette as well. Arriving on Friday and leaving on Sunday will cost a max of $50 per vehicle, so the price is pretty reasonable.
If there's enough interest, we can do a pot luck on Saturday for dinner too.

This is a "come and go as you please" event. As such, there's no meet up time. You can arrive at the location, tell the booth attendant that you are staying at the "Gold Hills Posse" camp site and he'll give you a map. Drive there and set up camp! First come first serve, but there is space for RVs on the far left of the site. Others will show up and we'll get a group going.
I've heard a pending member will host their bbq there! If so, once confirmed we can post up for pot luck items on Saturday night.
We are bringing a larger tent to set up, along with outdoor items like a horse shoe set and hopefully a croquette set.

Thanks to everyone who attended.
Dinner was fantastic! Excellent fixings everyone. Congrats to Gil n Betty for membership.
Nice croquette matches everyone, including the night game.
Ice cream sunday bar was super, but the breakfast wait was long.
We had a great time and appreciate everyones help with our tent, the camp fire n s'mores, super supply of chips, stoves n pop ups, and fun overall!
