Death Valley to Joshua Tree overland trip April 12-18th|Trail Runs / Events|Forum|Gold Hills Posse 4x4

I am planning a multiple day trip traveling from the north end of Death Valley, through Dumont Dunes, across the Mojave Heritage Trail, and then crossing Joshua Tree to finish in Palm Springs. Here is a link to the route that will be updated as things change: OnX-Link

When/where:

1. Leaving Sac area April 12th planning to camp the 12th just outside of Bishop 

2. Gas up before leaving bishop then camp the 13th at Saline Valley Hot Springs

3. Camp the 14th at Ubehebe Lead Mine

4. Gas up at Panament Springs then camp the 15th At Dumont Dunes

5. Camp the 16th on the Mojave Heritage Trail

6. Gas up in Ludlow then camp the 17th just outside 29 palms/joshua tree

7. Continue through Jousha Tree on the 18th to Palm Desert

Requirements: ~200miles fuel range, reliable vehicle, 4x4 with good tires, your own food and water, ability to camp multiple days in a row (there are multiple VRBOs/AirBNBs in the area outside the parks so can get down to every other night and still travel with us)

All of the planned route are considered easy by our Sierras trail standards with the most difficult sections being similar to current Strawberry difficulty and the vast majority being basically dirt roads.
