We cruised down to the Indian springs staging area pretty easily. We investigated the Pierce OHV area but access is blocked by a fallen tree. So with access in question and the fallen tree we choose to head down to driveline hill.
We made it up Driveline Hill and headed up towards Eagle Lakes. The tracks we were following didn't make it to the lake. We attempted to make it, but the snow was super crummy and dry. If you weren't in the frozen tracks you just sank.
We stopped and hung out for a while and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Offline We then continued up fordyce a ways to a tricky spot where the snow makes the trail impassable. There's a steep angle from the snow drift that just sends you down a hill. All the tracks stopped there. And so did we.
We turned around and headed back out. We ran into two other rigs playing on driveline hill. Then we headed out to the tow rig to load up. Luckily for us there was a truck stuck at the tow rig with a rescue truck stuck as well. We pulled both trucks out.
Some nice hiking couple parked there Volvo 3 feet behind our trailer so we couldn't load the trailer and the blocked us form backing out. Which forced my buddy to drive his tow rig into the snow with a trailer. Naturally, he got his tow rig stuck in the snow. So we then got to winch his truck and trailer out an got them turned around and loaded.
All in all, a great day and very relaxing. Hopefully we can get some more snow before this next Sunday.
