We will meeting at the regular "Strawberry Maintenance Run" meeting place, Fresh Pond at 8:30am on HWY 50. Then Head up to the trail head at 9:00. The Strawberry trail is "officially" closed to the public, but for this Fall Strawberry Trail Maintenance run non-members can also do this run. If Your rig is not up and running let us know if You want to be a Passenger. Please post if You need a open seat. Also, if You do plan on driving on this trip please post so we can can get a rig count. If we have enough rigs we just might split up and do a two sided attack, HWY 50 & 88. Be sure to bring gloves and if you have them, branch loppers. Depending on progress most likely we will have a great noon day lunch stop on the trail at "V" rock. Bring a lunch and plenty of fluids to drink.

If you're doing the 50 side and 88 side would it be better to meet at the Subway in Pollock Pines? Or is there another road to 88 from Fresh Pond?

Yes, when splitting direction the subway is logical. We will just have to drive backwards to the turn off.

I will be there, too. I have a couple of folding hand saws, a lopper, and a pole saw, if needed. Also there is room in my truck for a passenger.

Maybe so, But….. As fast as you drive Brad, you'll still probity get to V-rock before us.

If you can fit the pole saw, please bring it. We have some overhanging branches that a pole saw will make quick work of, so i wont have to stand on a vehicle!
