It seems that the death wobble is starting at around 40 MPH, which leads me to believe that the wheels are causing it. I think I need to bolt on somebody else's wheels and see how it does. It might just be these cheap Champion Beadlocks that is throwing it off. I know they had to use a ton of weight on them to get them balanced.
I have a set of rims and tires you can bolt on to try out if you want.
That would be great. I'll be calling to make arrangements...
I used to wheel a lot. . .

Awsome...now I just have to convert to 6 lug so I can try yours out too 🙄
sorry. i forgot i changed to 8 lug so you would have to have 5 to six lug adapter and then on top of that a 6 to 8 lug adapter. then you'll end up a full size witdth and not be able to get into barret. bad idea i guess..

I have seen a lot of Jeeps too and I have never seen one with a gimp foot like yours..Of the 3 axles I have run on my front end, none of them ever looked like yours, but then again, I have only had death wobble a few times since I have owned my Jeep and it has always been to to a loose spindle nut......Trying another set of wheels will be interesting to see what happens. Lets hope it works, but you were having death wobble problems before you put your beadlocks...

Took me most of the day but mine is loaded on the trailer and ready to go. I had to replace the rear output yoke seal on the transfer case, cut and weld in extensions for the rear sway bar links to make them longer, tighten the serpentine belt, and few other odds and ends! Driveline hill here I come!!!
