I will let you know how the trail is. I will call you tomorrow when I get home. If I am not back by 5 p.m. it might be a good idea to start looking for me. Sue is working tomorrow, so it will be just me 😈

John, what are this week's winning lotto numbers?
7 - 14 - 23 - 42 - 51 - 65
It would have been better if you pm'd them. Now I'll have to share my fortune. 😈
Heck...I'm not even sure how many numbers you're supposed to pick...I never play the Lotto.
But if you win, you owe me a soda at the next meeting 😀
I used to wheel a lot. . .

And then all heck broke loose! 😥
I may have broke, but no rescue. I would have never lived the pictures down
The trail is in great shape. Lots of hard obstacles from the snow melting on the trail. Bigger holes and bigger rocks 😈
There are several water holes on the trail that got very interesting. The two biggest swallowed the driver side of my Jeep and I had water coming over my hood and hitting my windshield. Lots of gas to get out of those quick. There were many trees down on the trail that I had to drive over. One of the trees reached out and put a 1 ½ inch gash in my sidewall of my newest tire. Guess I will be getting another tire under warranty. I put 7 tire plugs in the gash and closed it up then aired up the tire and kept on driving (Everyone should have a tire patch kit in their rig with a minimum of about 30 plugs.)
I made it across the committee trail river crossing and spent about an hour fishing and caught about 10 or so small trout. I headed out of the canyon and it was snow all the way. Slow and go and I made it no problem. Once I was past the lake, I was coming down off a large snow bank when my tracbar bracket ripped off my axle. The tracbar was fine. I used my winch and wrapped the track bar and the bracket that was still attached to it then wrapped the winch line around the axle a few times then hook my winch in to my passenger sping and sinched the winch down. I had to compress the whole front suspension to get it tight enough to hold the tracbar in place. That gave me about 3 or 4 inches of steering in each direction. I still had to turn the wheel a full turn brfore I would get a response. I drove very slow for the nest 6 or so miles. About 3 miles of that was on 3 tp 4 feet of snow. Once at Cisco Grove (No snow bank) I drove across the street to the Velero gas station and waited for my tow truck. Damage was the track bar bracket, cut sidewall and several new dents and dings. Probably my last solo run because if I ever do it again, Sue made it very clear that she was going to cut my you know what off

On the other hand the fishing report is a bit vague...
Was it the river or Lake? Flies? Worms? What kind of flies?
I fished up stream from where I crossed back over the committee trail. John knows the name of the fly I was using. I picked them up the last time John and I were over at the fly shop.
