Here we go, let’s try to get together in person for an outdoor club meeting!
We will start the meeting at 7:00 PM at Deputy Jeff Mitchell Field, 860 Redwood Ln, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762. There is only one parking lot so it should be easy to find us, when we get there we will decide if we are going to meet in the parking lot or in the park so it might be good to bring some lawn chairs. As voted on in the poll, we will ask for masks and distancing to keep everyone who attends comfortable with meeting in person.
Items up for discussion include officer updates, new member additions, recent club runs/events and upcoming runs/events. Bring your calendar!
We will also discuss new member additions. New attendees are welcome and will be recognized. We are hoping to also restart the raffle so bring a couple bucks for raffle tickets.

I edited the title to include the date, Yes June 10th (it's in the calendar also).
I am not sure the experience of trying to do a zoom and in person at the same time will work very well. Were you thinking someone holding up a phone during the meeting on zoom for others to watch?

Offline I will try and make it. Only thing is I don’t want to sound like an ass but we are all outside so no mask should be needed. If someone wants to wear one that’s fine. I personally have issues wearing one so I will not wear one. If this is an issue then I will not come and will wait till it’s allowed.

I'm fully vaccinated. Maybe we can have a maskless seating area for some of us. Five days after the meeting the state is lifting the year plus old mask mandate so I personally don't see where five days makes a difference. If someone has a mask on then that will be a signal for the maskless to keep their distance from them. Just my 2 cents worth.

I'll be out of town but I gree with Robert. If I was able to go I would prefer not to wear a mask. Zoom and Masks suck. Just my opinion. Lol

I know people hate wearing masks, but the point is to be respectful to those who appreciate the extra measure of safety.
Perhaps another poll for next month's meeting? Those that are still concerned would probably appreciate the advanced warning.
I don't want to wear a mask either, but I also respect the rules and people's concerns for their own safety. I wear it when I need to.

Well I guess I will have to sit this one out for the respect of the other members. Hopefully July will work out.

Offline I have a virtual meeting at 5 p.m. tomorrow that will last about 90 minutes so I can't make an in person meeting an hour drive from my home so I'm out unless we have a Zoom option.

Offline It was Great to see everyone that made it to the "Open Air" meeting. Fantastic to see Gil out and about, and Betty also. People in 3D are always better than flat screen.
If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

Offline Turned out to be more of a chat session than a meeting, 5 rigs and 10 people I think was the count. The main thing we talked about was if we could get enough people to cover volunteering at winch hill 1 for sierra trek, Tim is still working on that. There was some discussion about maintenance runs, there should be more info coming soon. Oh, and we are officially back on the calendar at Round Table, they are at 50% capacity which means we are covered in the big room. We should be good to be back in the room in July! More info to come!
