For this newbie the trip was better than I expected. I liked the challenging sections. The views were great. I was surprised by the amount of rigs from other groups. The rock slabs and drop off points were new for me but fun. Looking forward to many more trips to see more of the trail.
Do you ever get week days off? I'd take you all the way across in a day if you'd like!

I'm still trying to get my head around all the experiences from yesterday. Being the analytical, I've made a list ...
1 - It was fun to be around a GREAT group of people that enjoyed what they were doing.
2 - What super instruction, patience and SPOTTING!!
3 - I loved being someplace I'd never been before. The Rubicon has been on my list of things to do since I was a kid.
4 - How much fun it is to realize the work you've put in on your rig DOES make it trail capable.
There's more but it's still revealing itself.
All I can say is THANK YOU!!

Brad, Yes. Thanks for the offer. I'll post back here or PM you if I can make something work. I have a big project at work this June so time is limited for me.

Hey Brad, "in loon and out wentworth" ...Is this meet up at Loon Lake, travel north to the Staging Area north then west through Wentworth Spring CG, via Wentworth Springs Road then out through Georgetown?
Just trying to get my bearings.

I've been looking at a map which is why I asked the question the way I did.
For those who were not able to make the run or were just curious, this is the route we took.
