OfflineThe run is one week from Saturday. Tons of snow! I will look for others to lead this road patrol - So Speak Up!
The runs are on the calendar.
Road Patrol Number 2.
We count people who pass the check point and hand out literature if there is any available. Otherwise our conversations are educational.
Meeting in Pollock Pines Subway/gas station at 830 am on Sunday. We will leave by 9 am.
We will then head up Mormon Iimmigrant Trail, set up camp above the snow line where people can sled and snowshoe.
'This is a casual vehicle counting event with lots of sitting around. Bring chairs, pop ups, RC cars, snow shoes, food, snacks and whatever else you'd like.
There will be chances to snow wheel here to so you'll be welcome to head further up too.
if anyone wants to bring firewood or propane heaters too.
I don't believe there will be any member bbqs this trip, but if you'd like too, just post up!

Since it looks like it will be raining in Pollock, I wonder how far up we will have to go for it to be snowing. Also how poor of traction we will have with wet snow!
I was up there last weekend and the snow was all the way down to the lake. I don't think we will have to go far to get our selves into some trouble. It should be a fun day!!
Um...what?
