We will be providing a vehicle count for EDC Search and Rescue. This is mainly a sitting around and chatting event, plus the chance to do some side runs during the day. The count lasts from about 10AM to 4PM. We can plan to meet at EDH Starbucks at 830, and leave by 9AM.
Who is in for Road Patrol #2?

I have prior commitment of being backup help at the airshow. I believe we are supposed to have a 727 out there this year. Have to make sure not too many people get in the cockpit and start pushing buttons and switches. Too many people did that last year and killed the planes batteries the first day of the show. 🙄

I figure on leaving EDH at 9AM. I am guessing 945 at the clip board pick up on Iron Mtn?
I may be driving my truck, or need to mooch a ride off someone if my jeep isn't back by then. I'll know more later in the week. It sounds like I shouldn't have a problem with my truck unless it snows on Thursday night.

What a great event today! Great turnout and a lot of fun for a slow day.
We had:
Aaron (Huge Yellow Stepside)
Lee and Brad (TJ)
Don (LJ)
Don (TJ)
Jim (CJ)
Brendan (TJ)
Bill and Cammie and Zack (LJ)
Keane and Kelly (4-Runner)
George (TJ)
Rod and Valerie (XJ)
It was sunny in the AM and snowed in the afternoon. George came through with a nice fire so everyone stayed warm. Heading up the trail this morning we were breaking trail from yesterday's snowfall. The day was slow with less than 30 total vehicles. We ran into Oliver, who is always out and about in his gold TJ. He is 88 years old! Most of the people today stopped and chatted as they went by, or got stuck on their ATV's. We headed out at about 3PM, and ran into about 8 more vehicles on the way down. It was snowing hard by that point. Hopefully we can get some pics posted. Thanks everyone for making today a success!

I uploaded the few pictures I have here: https://posse4x4.org/gallery/20.....SnowPatrol
I didn't get any pictures of us "working". 😀
Here are a few highlights.
The first one was pretty close to a bad situation.
