Any Intererest in the quasi-beginner rubi run again this year?
Brad lead this last year. I would like to do it again.
It would be a day run that goes in Loon and out Wentworth. This is a reasonable day run for mildly built rigs. However this wouldn't be a camping style run.
Is there any interest?
UPDATE:
Ok sounds like we have some interest. Again this is a proposed beginner half Rubicon run in July.
I will lead this run; however, I'm still somewhat new to this trail. I would like some help from the club veterans if your willing to help!
Date: Saturday July 20th *Proposed*
Time: 9:00 am
Starting point: Loon Lake
Finish point: Wentworth Springs road
Goal: Have as much fun as possible in a Jeep on the Rubicon!

Sorry Josh for just now fully reading your post. You are looking for a july date-range run.
I thinking of the spring snow patch and water runs we've done on the loop. We can do both if it's ok.
I'm willing to coordinate/lead the spring loop and a wentworth snow run. We can speak to a July run later if that's ok. If I'm free I can help with that one too.

Yes, I'm still here and check in often. Unfortunately lately it's been: club meetings vs cub scouts and Saturday trail runs vs kids soccer/basketball/baseball, etc games. I've been bummed that I haven't been able to make any of the recent runs, but have been living vicariously through Carl's videos.. 🙂

Oh, I get that. Enjoy 'em while you have 'em!

Is there any interest? With interest I could look for a date or two that would work. Proposed month is July!

Then the following weekend lead the Rubicon Roundup run too!! 😀

I was telling my wife about this run. I thought it would be good for her to drive it and get a feel for what we do.
She actually sounded interested!!! 😮
Then I told her it would be cold and windy driving up in the morning. By noon it would be 100 degrees, and on the ride home, we would be freezing again.
She said "What do you mean, the heater and AC work great with the top on!"
She wants to take ALL the fun out of it!!!

I'm out of this run for now. I have some rims on order to dial in my tire backspacing on my jeep. The rims have been on order for a month. If they come in before this run is scheduled then I will lead this run for the club. For now if someone with a fully operational rig can take charge please step up.
