Friday Oct 9Th get a campsite and fish at loon.
Saturday wheel to little sluice for lunch and back to loon for dinner.
Sunday fish in the morning at loon and head home around noon.
I'm going to try to get a campsite at the main campsite at loon.
ill be bring my boat and oldest son.
trolling should be great that time of year and limits should be got in 4 to 5 hours.
so fishing, wheeling, BBQ, campfire, shooting the bull, what else is there!

Do they close it down or does the host just leave? I've camped in the snow up at Loon with a handful of hunters at Loon.
How was the Cantina. I always thought it would be fun to go.
they close the entrance to the camp sites but the ramp will stay open till it gets icey. there are 10 spots on the pavement near the ramp that can be used as well. there is also spots on the other side of the dam. but im not to sure they have toilets there.
the cantina was fun. the tacos arent bad and it raises a lot of money for the con. they had a lot of good stuff to give away in the raffle
