so i didnt want to muck up the other thread so i decided to make a new one for this. Personally, i think this would be fun to do. Plus we have our very own celebrity Posse member that is performing so the opera would be even better to watch!!! Hytenor, are you in any other performances in addition to Lucia di Lammermoor? I just want to make sure we can get the most people to come and it looks like Lucia is running on the weekend that im in mexico and after i get back it will be 4th of july weekend so i doubt most can go that weekend. here are the dates for lucia for the rest of you in case you want to go this month. man. i cant believe believe it. 1st a solid axle on your taco and now this!!! you da man.

I took my daughters to see Madam Butterfly with their school choir last year. We stopped for a nice dinner on the way while we were all dressed up, then went to the opera, it was a really nice time.
I'd love to take Annette. If we get a group going, it'll be much easier for those who have never experienced it to to with a group of people.

My vote would be for Saturday July 5th as it's not a work night for me, but it is a holiday weekend and others may be out of town.
What works for others?

yea, Lucia has been selling extremely well...full houses every night! It is an amazing show and the singers are awesome! you can always buy standing room tickets for $10-20. There are two areas to stand...back of the orchestra and up top at the back of the upper balcony. the upper rear balcony seats have become some of the most popular since we have the big 5x9' screens up so you can watch the closeup action 😉
...or, if you get bored you can head down to the 2nd floor bar/lounge and watch on the big screen TV, sit, and have a beer, LOL One of the cool thing about standing room is you can move around...whenever you want 😉
If anyone decided to head in for a show be sure to let me know and I can provide a full backstage tour before the show.
