... any 1" to 1-1/2"Wx3/16" thickness strap you could bring to the meeting tonight? A 12" length will be sufficient. :hack:

If so, I'll square up with you before we get out to there. THANKS!!

I'm confused? thinking

Metal strap? Lashing strap? Ratchet strap? I see the width you're asking for, but the thickness seems excessive for anything I have. Only .3m in length?

Maybe saying steel bar would have been better embarassed ... 1" wide x 12" long x 3/16" thickness.

Using it to build spacers under one side my front receiver hitch where it attaches to the frame. The other side will be on top of the steering re-inforcement that I'll be installing in a couple of days. These "spacers" will be to keep the receiver mounts square with each other and not "twist" the frame.

That sounds better. Why not run to blue collar and pick it up. They often have scrap that size and will sell it for cheap. I may actually have a piece the size you reference in my welding scrap. It may be 8-10" long though...

That would probably work just fine, THANKS!

I have a couple of places to go here locally (EG/So. Sac) but taking time off during the work day, which have been 6 each week for the last month, is really difficult.

It's great to be employed, but the hours are really starting to take their toll.
