Amber and I would like to have a member bbq. We would like to set up a deer valley day trip on july 10th or july 11th. Let me know what day works better for everyone. Hopefully get a big group together. I will have smoked pulled pork with hawaiian rolls and bbq sauce. And some sides and drinks to go with it. There will be plenty for everyone.Â

Preferably just a day run for us. Others can camp at hermit if they would like. We have no way of carrying camping stuff and BBQ stuff in the yj. Â Looks like Saturday july 10th will be the day.Â

I'm hoping to make this run. What direction are you planning to run the trail? If I go I may camp the night before the run, especially if you run south to north since it's a three our drive to the southern trailhead for me.

What direction will you be running the trail is a great question Jeff.Â
@Robert & Amber …. FWIW last year we ran it from the South to the North then hit Strawberry to get back to HWY 50 and it was a lot of fun. If you haven’t planned it out yet, I offer that idea for your consideration. Oh, and my favorite picture from that trip….
