Meeting at subway/shell station in Pollock Pines, off of the Sly Park and Hwy 50 exit. Meet at 830, drivers meeting and sign-in, leave by 9. Lunch around noon or 1. Start packing up around 2-3pm depending when the afternoon wheelers get back.

This run is currently open if we have any pending members needing a BBQ so post up if you want to take this on.

Im backing out too. Broken rib has been bothering me big time. Plus I don’t want to mess with that wind, I’ve been in the mountains enough times in strong winds to know not to go, especially when physically hurt.

Well boys & girls, there were 4 rigs; Tim, Brian, Andrew & me. Talk about wind; it was a chore just getting to the Shell. We headed out around 9:00A & Jenkenson Lake had white caps! A lot of snow had disappeared & what was left was pure ice. A tree fell over the road, which we cut up & cleared. We finally make it up to Silver Fork Rd., where it was snowing, about 28 degrees & the wind blowing about 40mph. Nowhere could we set up with those conditions, so we called it a day. Fun drive in the snow, no so fun getting out of a warm vehicle!
