I think you would have been fine after I plowed the road. 😀 I needed a tug a couple of times - pretty similar to what you saw. The snow was really weird. We'd go out on a point and there would be just a little but the second we got in the shade I was plowing. There was one corner where there was dirt on both sides of the corner and 1.5 feet of snow in the middle. Crazy. Everybody got their chance to pull the Nissan but it didn't get out of hand.
Looking at my pictures there all of me stuck.
Hopefully Kevin was a better photographer.

Write up and pictures added. For some reason I can't get thumbnails on the pictures in the gallery but they seem to be there. Hopefully Kevin has better luck and I'll add a few to the writeup.

Overall I think they did fairly well.
I need to do some work to figure out a good tire pressure. I wasn't paying attention to how fast the tires aired down and ended up at 9psi to start. That was way too low. There was so much flex in the sidewall I might as well have been riding on the rims so I aired them up a bit before we got going. I think I went too high at around 18 psi but those sidewalls are REALLY squishy and based on the less than great reviews of them I didn't want to push them too hard. Maybe 12-15 next time?
In general I wasn't stuck until I was really pushing a fair amount of snow and you could feel it. I would be driving along pushing the snow and then all of a sudden it would be just a bit too much and I would break traction and sink. I think some of that also has to do with learning to drive an automatic in the snow. I really prefer a manual transmission where I can work the throttle and clutch together.
Overall in "normal" snow conditions I think they'll be great. It has been pretty icy up here lately and I've been impressed with how well they hang on to the road. When they do slip it's been brief and I've never had any trouble getting back in control again.

Will the truck be on the road patrol?
