Hi guys! Finally made reservations!
This is a super fun event.
This is an established campground and you can drive the family car there. It's in a beautiful setting.
I have C-Section reserved, which is a large area that fits several camping sites. They have a covered dome with 10 tables, 6 chairs per table. It has electricity, a new roof, and fans. We are allowed to bring extra tables and chairs and set up propane heating if the weather is brisk!
In the past, we have had fantastic horseshoe tournaments, corn hole tournaments, water balloon fights, croquet, giant Jenga, and Trivial Pursuit (from 1985!!). We set up a projector, screen (maybe the side of the dome), and a sound system for movies.
Everyone pitches in and brings copious amounts of food, drinks, desserts, and fun! This is a great event to bring all the family.
Not everyone camps. Some come for the day and evening dinner.
$45/night for camping.
$12/day use.
No wood fires are permitted. Only propane or charcoal.
They usually have an ice cream social at their clubhouse. It may not happen this year, the social coordinator may be retiring, but she has not set a final date. I've asked her to wait until we get to come and play.
This is a great opportunity for pending members to bring food and make member status before the Christmas Party.
Please let me know if you intend to go. If you are camping or just coming for the day. Even though you will stop at the Center and pay for your use, I still need to give my contact an idea of how many.
These events have always been time well spent and great memories are made.
Check out the website. It's a beautiful spot. (More known as "glamping" now than camping!)

I hope to see all of you there with all your family!

Bumping this up. It is next weekend.
please state if you are coming. Who all are coming. What you are bringing. When you are planning to stay, or for a day.
I’ve heard there is a potential club membership bbq for multiple members!!??
please post up if any coordination from others is needed!
Remember to share what you are bringing.
People need to bring their own drinks and cups. And potentially a side for a dinner on Saturday.

Quick post-up.
Thanks, Brad for the update above.
Wanted to let everyone know that you have to let me know by Tuesday morning at 9 if you plan to camp.
Otherwise, it will be just a great get-together dinner on Saturday. It will be a come and go as you want time frame, but dinner will be around 5:00.
We will get there early to set up for the games, photo booth, and movies. Trophies and ribbons will be handed out to winners!!! With your picture posted on the forum!!
Let us know what foods you are bringing so we can coordinate and button up this.
Thanks guys.

I am in with wife (Katie) and all 4 kids.
We can bring whatever food sounds good. Hamburgers and hot dogs maybe are already covered? Chips and pretzels? One time I brought a cooler half full of sodas/waters and half full of beer. Some desserts? Myself, I prefer sardines packed in Louisiana hot sauce. . .
Let me know what everyone would prefer?
