Hey all, I will be going up to Eagle Lakes on Tuesday to do Fordyce to the first river crossing, then go up the hard side of signal peak, down the easy side, then go do a little bit of committee crossing until the guy I am with can't make it any further.

So far, just 2 rigs... We are meeting at Bass Pro Shops at 730am at 80 and sierra college. If anyone wants to go play around before the thanksgiving family time, text me! 5593000144.

See you there!

Had some fun on Tuesday. We went in to the first river crossing. He was a little undergeared to get down the last 200 yards. So, he hiked down the boulder strip down to the river and we had lunch there. Then we worked our way out. He did the bypass on driveline hill. I went up just fine... which I wasn't sure about because everything was soaking wet and muddy... but no problems, no slips. Coming down though was interesting. My rear end missed the line I wanted by about 4 inches and my rear driver tire slid off one of the ledges sideways. I got super light on the passenger rear tire, which came up in the air and I thought for a split second that I was going over and making a yardsale on a muddy driveline hill. It worked out though and once I balanced back out, I was able to continue on down the last ledge with no problems.

There was no snow at all through the first river crossing... the river was running around 100-150cfs. Signal peak supposedly has a nice icey, snowy, slick at the last 1/4mile to the top.

That sounds scary!  I'd hate to roll my rig on that hill or anywhere for that matter.

Um...what?
