I'm going to do another run up there. This time it's going be a camping trip too. Going to do the upper part of the trail and some of the other areas up around that part of iron mountain. It will be september 11th to 13th. Anyone is welcome to come for however long they want. I'll be setting up a basic game plan with other peoples input as we go. Right now I'm looking at capps crossing campground.

Offline Ok my plans have changed for this trip. Being that we are off for labor day we have to squeeze 5 days of cars into 4. So I'm planning on going on the maintenance run on Saturday and camping Saturday night then Plummer ridge on Sunday.

We were headed to Austin (our house in Nv) where all our camping gear is. We are planning on both camping trips (urs and the other one on the forum). We got to Placerville on Hwy 50 all packed and headed out and Guy gets a call. Work work work. So we can't camp with u this year! 
. But we will next time. Glad ur making the maintenance run. If Guy doesn't have to work count us in for Sunday. We like this ridge!
