Where did you post the Sunday run proposal? Was it at the beginning of this thread? Sorry I missed it.
One page back.
I used to wheel a lot. . .

Go trade it in on a new JK. 😈
Here's something interesting. Apparently the new JK's sit in a huge Iowa railyard waiting to be shipped all over the country - we're talking thousands of JK's and JKU's. Last month there was a HUGE hailstorm in Iowa that damaged cars, houses, etc. Most of these jeeps were damaged, say over 50% Jeep is now offering these "restored" 2012's as new "used" models and you can get them for up to 20% off. 😯
Any interest????

I can bring steaks in for the Possie on Saturday night. I need a rough count of who is going by Thursday please so I can purchase the right amount.
We won't be able to make this run. Got something else wrong with Green besides the upper and lower balljoints that were replaced after the last run.(Napa did honor their lifetime warranty ) The pitman arm is twisted and the front trackbar may be bent. Got the new trackbar made up of .25 wall dom just need to cut down the spring bushings I have for the axle end. And find a pitman arm that won't twist or crack. Have fun and I hope all goes well.

Sorry to hear about all the problems. I hope you are back on track for the maintenance run! How did you twist a pitman arm on the TJ? I run a stock pitman (it is reemed for the 1-ton joint) on the yellow jeep and have never had any problems. I need to buy another stock JK pitman arm, so thanks for the reminder!

OfflineSue and I might be interested in going, but we would just drive all the way through on Sat and out Tahoe. I would be more than happy to guide you through as far as you go until you camp. Sue just doesn't do the camping thing anymore.

Gee, this is not looking good. I'm ready to propose a two week slip in this trip. An unexpected soccer commitment popped up for Saturday morning. Josh wants to do his BBQ, but I think we need 3 members for an official run. Rob has generously offered to lead a one day trip this Saturday. I assume starting in Georgetown since he lives up that way.

OfflineYou guys could stop and camp at Rubicon Springs then head out Sunday. You are 90% through the trail at the springs and Cadilac is easy to get up and out. You could take your time Sunday morning and still be at the Tahoe staging area by noon and headed home. John said he might do Sunday, but I think he wants a speed run. Sat. I will run at your speed and get you through the hard spots. Let me know, I could meet you in Auburn, George Town, or the trail head. We can go in at Loon lake or Wentworth Springs

OfflineI am getting confused
Am I coming or going?
I am still up for a day run Saturday. Sue hasn't had a chance to get out and wheel this year and wants to go. If not, I guess it will be house and yard work 🙁

I'll go with you on Saturday for a day run.
We can meet in Auburn. Elm Ave Starbucks? What time works for you?
If anyone else decides to go they can meet us in Auburn or Georgetown.

OfflineHow does 7:30am at the Elm Starbucks sound. Another option Kevin if it is just you and I, we can run Fordyce if you would rather do that since you haven't been up there this year. The water flow is down to about 125 so it won't be deep or fast. I will leave the option up to you. I am good with both.

OfflineOne other thing I was thinking if you were up to it is maybe stop along the trail and hike up to the old mining town and check it out. Thats if we could even find it and if you would be up for the hike. I dont think it is to far off the trail, but I think it would be neat to see it.
