Chris, can you create a post with a pin/gps coordinates for where we are planning to meet up Monday morning? Does anyone want to meet me in Georgetown and caravan from there? We can work out the time and details later.Jeff
Potentially. Please keep me posted and I will confirm as we get closer.

I just heard there's lots of construction up on Icehouse Rd now so keep that in mind...
Mike, I saw the same thing but I didn't even connect the dots with our trip because I don't go that way. The post I saw said delays up to an hour. We should get more information before our trip but maybe we should all go through Georgetown. Thanks for the heads up Mike.

Ya no problem just wouldn't want anyone to get stuck and delayed. I sure wish I was able to go with you all

Jeff I would be interested in meeting in Georgetown.
Only negative would be topping up the gas tank, probably not that much farther

Richard, I (we) often go in through Georgetown and have plenty of fuel for the trip after we top off there. In my TJ I have enough fuel to make it back to Truckee before I have to fuel up after the trip. I will probably carry an extra 5 gallons of fuel just in case someone needs it.

OfflineI was thinking about the airport flat campground (38°59'05.9"N 120°22'50.4"W) just after the bridge @8 since some people said they were not sure where the trail head was at the Wentworth Spring campground is (39°00'41.5"N 120°19'31.8"W). I was thinking of airing down part way at airport flats to help with the dirt road in before airing down the rest of the way closer to Wentworth Springs for the trail. But I also like the idea of meeting in Georgetown in front of Worton market. There is a Chevron 1 block away at the corner of Georgetown Rd and Main St. Maybe meet by 0645 so we are on the road by 7. I was also planning on having my radio on 151.760 for the trip, not that I can hear it on the road before the trail with my top and doors off. I'm going in through Georgetown no matter what. The only reason that would change is if my daughter wants to go up Sunday night night to camp.

MORRFlate Sean should be joining us. Not sure of current his club status (JiggleJr) but I invited him. He’s on 40s now with the 3.4L swap so he should not have any issues.

I Will plan to meet at Worton’s in Georgetown at 645am on Monday. Tyler (MORRFlate) might be able to join us for the day (to Buck) so I’ll meet him and Sean there.

OfflineDo we want to combine our resources so we are not all packing the same things for cooking. I have a 2 burner stove and a small table I will bring. I have a bbq but it's not very compact and would rather not bring it. I don't have a lot of room, especially since Mykey wants to bring her dog this trip.
Also, I am planning on meeting in Georgetown Monday morning.

Good idea Chris. I have a two burner stove that fits in my camping box but I only have a charcoal BBQ which takes up too much space in my TJ. If I could use someone's BBQ that would be great. As of today there are no campfire restrictions in the Eldorado National Forest. Everyone, be sure to get a campfire permit for your fire or gas stove. Here is the link: https://permit.preventwildfiresca.org/

OfflineGrant is out but I am still in. Will meet at Worton's also. I will be bringing the flat top if anyone want to use it instead of bringing their BBQ/Stove.
Wow, winch hill 1 on on the RTF property looks like it got way worse than last season, I think Chris was the person that called it last year, how bad it would get with all the traffic checking it out.
Just hit my main goal after the move, the top lift is up in the garage and holding the top, half doors are on, I am in wheeling mode now!

Bummer Grant can’t make it but good to hear you are and are getting settled into the new place. Imma throw a reservation out both nights for some dinner time cooking space on that griddle! I have my camp table I’ll bring we can use. Looking forward to it.
