Sue and I are NOT going to make the roundup as of now. RE: Too much stuff to fix from this weekend. Am headed out to pull trans apart and ck ele stuff in it. Will give up date tomorrow. Can get control arm brackets and bushings done but not sure about my trans, it might be mechanical.

Doesn't sound like it, but figure I'll ask - anyone going in Monday? I'd be up for a Monday/Tuesday run.

I'm going in on Sunday and returning on Monday. Is there anyone else leaving Sunday mid morning? Also, are we camping at the same spot as last year?

I'm going in Sunday from the Tahoe side and will try to make it to somewhere near Spider Lake. I love swimming in Spider Lake. 😀 Camp near there (don't worry, I'll have my Jeep in the boundaries) and head out to Loon Sunday.
Bill, Kevin, John, Rob.......what do you think?

That sounds like a good plan. Sue and I will go all the way through, but stopping at Spider to swim and chill before driving all the way out sounds good!!!

Sounds like Spider is the destination of choice then. I've never seen it, so it sounds good to me. I will be driving all the way through on Sunday, nt camping because there are a lot of things going on this time of year.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Sounds good, what time will we be leaving from Tahoe? I need to try to get off work early Sunday morning. I will camp where ever.

So who is where and what is what? I have read the thread and can't seem to figure out whether everyone is going to camp at spider or buck or what. Can someone post a breakdown of what is going on? Where's the trail boss for this trip? lol I am going to go in on Sunday, and staying till Tuesday. Spider or Buck I don't care. I would just like others to hang with.

I am going in from Loon. I have to trailer so I can't start in Tahoe and end at Loon.

Joe. Wheel in from Loon to Spider on Sunday. Camp with Justin and Bill Sunday night. Then you and Bill (and maybe Justin) can wheel around on Monday before heading back out Loon. Maybe Bill will check back in to confirm.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

That is cool with me. I will be able to hang out most of the day on Monday and play. My only concern is that I get off work at around 6:30 or 7:00 Sunday and drive time would put me in Homewood around 9:00 or 9:30. I hope this isn't too late for you guys. Let me know.

We are meeting in Auburn at 7:00 at Starbucks (Forest Hill exit). That should put us at the Tahoe staging area around 8:30. From there we will wheel into Spider Lake. People will be camping at Spider, which means Joe can come in from Loon and meet everybody at Spider too. I will be wheeling out Sunday evening by myself I guess 😯

Shirt.woot today has an e-maul shirt you can buy. It has a bear on for those of you seeking to repel attacks while on the run...

Let's move the Auburn meeting time to 7:30. That will put us closer to Bill's meeting time in Tahoe.

Bill,
Were you working two days ago when your department responded to a rolled black hummer? If so, let me know!

let me guess.....the rolled black hummer was actually your new jeep but they look so much like an h2 that it got everyone confused. 😛
