Does anybody have a camp fire permit? I haven't gotten one this year yet and I am not sure if the CDF stations will be open Sunday on my way to the trial.

I am bringing my personal chef, my Dad, with me. This is going to blow his mind. He taught me to drive when I was about 13 yrs old in a cj5. He used to think going into Fordyce lake (not trail) was offroading.

Earl, I think I'm going to be heading out Sunday morning instead of tonight. I'll give you a call so we can meet up and drive up together later today.

I just talked to Tom. They are in Tahoe looking for a place for lunch, so it sounds like they all made it off the trail. 8)

I was sooooo woried that Lee would cut a sidewall and need his spare tire that I had. 😯

Myself, Troy, Lee, and Brad are back. This trail was not a tough as strawberry, but almost as much carnage was done (George wasn't there to show us the tough lines)...

Yeah, the story I heard was....I smacked the mirror off in Old Sluice, then i backed up to get the mirror and hit the A frame. The rock is the one I think Fred hit last year. it looks like a "nose" sticking out just befor the large pivot rock in old sluice going down to Buck island.

Thanks Justin! You probably needed your toilet since you stayed an extra day , but THANKS for leaving the PET toilet with the camp. It was the only one we had and I had the only WAG bags, it seems.

Here's to a the nice view behind the loo!

I just got off the phone with Don. He was home about 4:30. Sounded like he had a great time, except maybe for the mosquitoes and sunburn.

I was going to say that looks like my rock in Old Sluice bit again. It looks like it was hungrier this year though.

It should buff out though. 😕
