I agree as well. I bent everything related to stock, and I'm not that hard on parts.

My steering is "off the shelf" Of course, it's a section of DOM, 1 ton TRE's and tube adapters off the shelf of Independent4x lol

Out in the garage collecting parts....

I think off the shelf parts are strong enough for many mildly built vehicles and only become too weak when used with the bigger builds. You guys saying custom is the only way to go seem to be in the "bigger" category. Those of us with 35" tires and smaller can probably get away with some of the off the shelf stuff.
