I'd be in for Group A. Group B works, but us old Jeepers do need more recovery time.

Usually Toyotas run at the back of the group so that we can be trail cleanup and pick up all the jeep parts along the way.... but I guess I can lead group B in 😀

Yes, because used Jeep parts hold their value, unlike used Toyota parts.

Offline I'm in for Group A. Made an executive decision to get out of prior commitment on the 14th. Will have to make it up big time but I'm sure it will be worth it.

Offline Tonight I was writing up and going to post all the details for this trip because I won't be at the next club meeting due to Sierra Trek. I happened to check the Rubicon Springs calendar and Marlin Crawler now has an event on the trail and at Rubicon Springs from September 13th through the 15th. This event wasn't on the Rubicon Springs calendar when I posted notice for this trip. This means that there will be a lot of rigs on the trail and we may not be able to camp at the springs. I emailed Rubicon Springs to see if we can camp there on the Friday the 13th. We may need or even want to reschedule our trip. This really sucks! 
I will see what the springs has to say about us camping there and then we can discuss our options. Your thoughts?

The trail will be crowded. What's even worse, it will be crowded with Toyotas!
But the real problem is that we probably can't camp at Rubicon Springs because I think it is reserved for the Marlin Crawler event. I went on it many years ago and the camp was packed.

No, but the plan was to camp at Buck Island on Thursday night.
