Offline Hi folks, sorry we were on a fire the last few day out in Georgetown. For the saw class, for those who have expired they just extended the the expiration for one more year. So everyone who had a card previous is still able operate a saw and not required to do a refresher but still a good idea. For the class the refresher day will be Sunday the 13 by the Sierra spring fire station . Still waiting on a time meet up for Sunday. For those interested in the full class the class room potion of the class it will be on Saturday the 12th and will run 8-4 ish. The class will be at the placerville ranger station off of 8 mile road in Camino. There will be a another class and refresher the first weekend of April as well if you can not attend this one. Don’t Forget to bring all of your equipment each day. If you have any please let me know and I will be at the meeting tonight if you have any questions as well.

Thanks for the update! It is scheduled to start Sunday between 8 and 830. I don't have the exact address however.
Remember that Sunday AM is DST - so you need to be there by 7-730!

Thanks Tim! Since there is another one April 2-3 I think I am going to wait and do that one. I really need a solid weekend to get some things in order at home after the move.

Offline The Sunday chainsaw re-cert field class went well & had some rule changes that we learned. It was a little wet from the earlier morning rains, but turned out to be a nice day. From our club who attended, was Lynda, myself & Brad. There also was a motorcycle club & others. We hung around the tree felling "B" qualifiers to look & learn, which was quit interesting & informative. Overall a great day, got home around 2:00P.
