I thought the weather was great! The rain on Thursday made the trail extremely difficult and many of the vendor rigs had trouble even going the easy lines. The rest of the days were perfect weather.
We got home at 945 last night (3:15 drive) with a stop for gas and food and a stop to help a jeep for 30 minutes. We were following a jeep out who had a rear wheel wobble. I kept saying he either had a bent axle or bent rim (he had AEV beadlocks). I was wrong. I came around a corner and he was stopped on the side of the road with no rear wheel. It fell of becuase of loose lug nuts. His Alloy USA axles had threaded studs that worked themselves outbackwards. I stayed and helped for a half hour, and he was ready to put the tire back on. I don't know if larry saw him. He had 37" krawlers and a short arm lift. The Krawlers were siped as well.
No traffic on the way home, and no contruction...

I picked up something on the lens on Saturday so they're not very good. 😕
Sue, care to explain what's going on here. Don't worry, I didn't post all my pictures.

Great pics Keane.
A couple observations:
1. Pic 70 is of an FJ25, though it looks like an FJ40 - they are fairly rare.
2. Thanks for selectively posting!
3. Don't eat the popcorn.
4. The FJ Cruiser having problems was a Sierra Trek Committe member.
5. We learned that no matter how long you've been wheeeling, it doesn't guarantee you know how to.
6. Many people who declined help, actually fell into #5 above...
7. Pat and Carrie have some adventureous and good kids.
8. The pictures didn't do justice to how much fun the group had!

#9. Shirt orders are a PITA but John's art skills are top notch. Note to self: keep it simple stupid!
As far as I know only John and Joe had shirts that were screwed up and need to be replaced. Carrie ended up with a hole in one of hers but it was the free one she won in the raffle and they mentioned that some of those had problems so I'm not going to ask for a replacement. If there are other problems, let me know ASAP.

My writeup is posted. Remember...any of you can fix/clean it up. I like some of Fred's pics better so I'll work those in tonight.

The shirt that Carrie won also had a cut on it. Please add her to the repair list. It was a gray Tank top...

Seriously? Did you even read my post? The free extras were free for a reason.

Had a great time. The weather was perfect, in the since that it rained the first day and not the last.
Got home about 10:15 after a stop in Truckee for dinner. We ran into the same guy Brad did with the tire issue. He was just cleaning his hands. We followed him to pavement with no problems. He said that he was good to go and we left him airing up. He said many thanks to Brad.
