Im considering moving the dates only if it works for everyone. Im thinking camp Friday night at utica reservoir rocky point campground. Saturday run slick rock and then up to hermit valley campground. Sunday deer valley. Strawberry pass optional. Let me know, thanks.
That time of the year it shouldn't be too busy on the weekend so I don't see a problem with changing the dates. It's your call since you are leading it Robert.

Okay group. Im going to leave the schedule as Jeff originally had planned. I have a conflict in my schedule and cannot lead Friday slick rock run. Is there anyone that can fill in to lead that? I will be at hermit valley campground Friday evening to camp. I can lead Saturdays deer valley run. Thanks

I’m thinking meet at the McDonalds in Angels Camp at 7:30am and leave at 8:00am. I’m going to stop in Arnold to fuel up, we should be at the trail head around 9:30am. Air down and be on the trail by 10:00am
I’ll plan to run slick rock on Friday with you all and deer valley Sat. I’ll very likely stay in the area Thurs night and so will plan to meet at the trail head at 930am on Friday unless I post otherwise. Looking forward to it!

Robert - I assume the meeting place for the Deer Valley run on Saturday morning will start at the Hermit Valley campground, just need the time to muster, thanks...
If memory serves me, in past runs we would meet at McDonalds in Angels Camp at 7:30 am and leave there at 8:00 am. Top off fuel in Arnold and meet the campers at Hermit Valley Campground on Hwy 4 at 9:30 with the goal of being on the trail at 10:00. The trailhead is right at the campground.

Our jeep is at the dealer repairing the parking brake, which apparently needs parts they don't have in stock & have to go their national warehouse to get. All this means is time & if the RR goes on strike, that situation will do nothing but to add time. So this could well dip into the time of the Deer Valley run. I'll respond to this again before the run, one way or another.

I'm a solid maybe! Got a call today from WFO and my axle is in. He was shocked because the factory told him 3 to 4 months and the last one he ordered took 7 months. I drop my Jeep off on Monday the 26th so it should be done before this trip.
That’s fantastic! Fingers crossed it will be done in time!
