The FS has approved the re-route of the first 0.7 miles of slickrock trail off of private property and onto FS property.  This trail re-route is being spearheaded by the Joaquin Jeepers who have adopted Slick Rock Trail.  In talking with Jeff B from the Joaquin Jeepers last year when he got to walk and mark the proposed new trail with the FS he indicated that they would be rerouting through the rocks so as to add some new obstacles.  The behind the scenes work has already started and the FS work starts in the next week or so.  They have already put together a couple of Volunteer days on June 16th and June 23rd.
