Hey Everyone.

I talked to Greg and he suggested that I host the member BBQ for this run.  Bratwurst will be on the menu. Need a count so I can make sure I have enough for everyone.  If anyone wants to bring sides that would be great. You're a great group and will be my pleasure feeding y'all.

I bought chips at Costco earlier today and then came home and saw Mike's post. Now I need to figure out something else to bring.

Kris, are you planning to have two groups and work from opposite ends of the trail? If so then some people will not be able to attend the John's member BBQ due to snow unless they come back around to the hwy 50 side. Perhaps this is something that should be decided in advance so that John knows how many brats to bring and so that those working the opposite side can bring a lunch or decided if they want to try to make it back in time for the BBQ.

If I get my front shocks back (rebuild) and installed in time, I'll be there.

I figured I might start a list of what everyone will bring.

Sloguy             - 48 Bratwurst ( I think I counted 25 people on the thread,  If I need more let me know )

Sloguy             - Onions (Sauteed and also Raw Diced)

Sloguy             - Paper Plates

Mike G            - Assorted Chips

70Dustpan      - Rolls and Cookies

Dale               - Cookies

Sharkbyte       - Fruit

Jeff R            - Pasta Salad, Extra Table

Scott V          - Ice Cold Sodas and Water

Still need  Condiments, Utensils, or anything else I missed.

Thanks for all your help!

No, we will be working in 3 or 4 smaller groups on the 50 side of the trail, the access road, and the spur trails off that end of pack saddle and meeting back at a central location for lunch.  I will bring maps and assign leaders of sections sunday morning.

All I think we need is condiments plus any other goodies (sauerkraut?) someone might want to bring.

I think we are up to 32 people so I'm upping the Brats to 60 just in case.  Someone may want to split the rolls with 70Dustpan.

Thanks,

John

I'm going to be able to make it this weekend also.  30+ people is a lot for 1 person to feed.  I'll will bbq some chicken breast Saturday night and bring it up to the run to add to the selection of meat.  It won't be hot, so hopefully that wont be a problem.
