I am going to make a family picnic run on Strawberry on September 5th (Labor Day Weekend). We will wheel up to the Caples Lake overlook and have lunch. We will then wheel back to 50 and home. Mellow, slow paced run. Everybody is welcome to join us.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

So, the trip is a no go?

I sold the tires and wheels from the black jeep tonight. I had to put the krawlers on my JK. Man, they look small compared to the Toyos - almost funny looking.

Now I need to swap the rings between my two jeeps and add the pressure monitors to the rims going on the JK.

Well, it was up for two full days without a response (except Justin's Vespa). Usually a run notice gets a reply within a day, either a confirmation or rejection, at least some intrest. I figured nobody was interested.

When I got the oportunity to do something else, I jumped on it. I don't really like running trails by myself, not even easy ones. So I figured it was better to have definite plans than just hope somebody else will take an intrest in Strawberry. So I switched plans.

Maybe some other time...

I was serious about going up there on my KLR. I don't foresee my Jeep being wheel-able anytime soon, so I have to stick to the easy trails on the dirt bike.

Sorry, I thought you were kidding. What do you have to fix on your Jeep?
