NOTE: THIS IS BUILD DAY 2 OF 2
Quincy Ford, the Eagle scount candidate who is leading the build of our new Kiosk on Strawberry, is asking for 6-10 people on Saturday to help build the structure to hold the metal sign for the Kiosk. Plan is to meet at the trail head on the HWY 50 side at 9:00 AM, Quincy will provide water but you wll need to bring your own lunch and snacks. Unfortunately there has been a delay in the sign for the kiosk, so there will need to be another trip when it is ready for mounting. Post up if you can join!
Tools Needed:
Job site generator (If Jamie cannot make the trip Saturday, he will bring it Friday and give it to Quincy) w/ extension cord.
Hammers
Cordless screw guns
Anything else you think might be helpful
Might also be good to have some of these just in case:
Shovels
Digging Bars
Pick Axe

I will be there both days. I'll bring tools, maybe a wheelbarrow, cordless tools, ladder if needed, buckets for water & a post hole digger. I have a generator if needed. Let me know if anything else.

Again, I will show up at the trail head around 9:00A Friday morning & on Saturday morning as well. Need a confirming list of what's needed, that I can bring, regarding tools & equipment, just to be sure.

Hey all,
I will be there Saturday. Julie might tag along too, depending on her job.
I assume the posts are dug and filled with cement… (I have a tractor with a post hole digger).
I can bring tools (hammers, drills, etc).
I’ll just need specific directions to the trail head area.

If you want to meet me, I can get you to the trail head. We can meet at the Fresh Pond Chevron station (east of Sly Park exit) at 8:00A (?). I'm not sponsoring this event, but I think they have everything needed for the posts, which will be done tomorrow, except some basic tools, which I & others will bring tomorrow.

Anyone who intends to contribute to the Kiosk build on the North end of our trail can meet me at the Fresh Pond Chevron Station (east of Sly Park Exit) at 8:00A Friday morning, & again on Saturday morning as well. This is a Boy Scout project, so I assume they will need hand tools, etc. I assume the foundations will be dug & poured Friday & the remainder of the Kiosk on Saturday. It would be good to post-up if you plan to attend. We'll head from Fresh Pond no later than 8:30A. Thanks...
If there are any specialty tools needed, please post-up with a list.

For those headed out on Friday, I misunderstood concerning time frames. Unless Jamie posts otherwise, the work party will not be starting at the site until around 1:00P. It will be announced when Saturday will start, but I understand early in the morning. Either Jamie or I will post what time. Sorry for my misunderstanding.

On Saturday, I will be at Fresh Pond Chevron station at 8:00A in a white Gladiator Rubicon. From there, it's about 1/2 hour to the trail head. Mostly flat, you can use a pickup to get there.
