Looks like it's gonna be a chilly day there! Dress warm. I'm just hoping for no rain!

It's getting late, did Strawberry Trail uphold it's reputation?

Yes it did. George-Radiator Sue- left front axel seal Joe-scratch RR wheel (forgot I was in front wheel drive only) I believe we were last ones down the hill and saw no roadside debris. George's tri-tip was awsome. Thanks George

I'll post pictures and a write up after the Father's Day festivities. We cleared a LOT of brush on the road leading to the trail. On the trail, several downed trees were removed, and we diverted snow runoff from eroding the trail by re-directing it off the path of the trail.

It was a great day, lots of hard work and teamwork. We even had some folks stop and help roll a tree off the path. Thanks everyone!

And the Tri-Tip was great!

We all made it to V-Rock (snow was gone there) I was stopped by a pinhole leak in my radiator right there. Rick & Bill got up past Pinch Rock. A little farther up there was enough snow to stop everyone, other wheelers were stacking up there. By the time we got to that point it was 3pm so we decided to turn around and head for home.

I gotta give props to George! He had his stuff together! Starting with the binder he carries with all his trail maintenance forms and logs, to his workplan.

One "to do": One of our culverts is blocked, resulting in run off across the trail just above the waterfall obstical. I thought we could wait until fall, but I may be a LOT easier if we dig it out with the water flowing to clear the pipe out.

Should we do a snow run/small work project? Anyone?

When are you planning to go? I'm up for it but won't be able to make it until after the 4th of July weekend.
