I can't make it this time. (Sorry Jeff R, you'll have to find someone else to follow in your truck!). We are selling our house and buying a house in Sacramento. Both houses close in 2 to 3 weeks. I have a lot to do and not much time left. After we get into the new house I should be free to do trail maintenance or wheeling runs. It's been way too long!

Ok Betty and I got home sometime around 5. We had thirteen people and eight rigs come out. It was a really good day lots got done we did good stuff on V-Rock. It'll still need more attention later, also we placed another obstacle on the trail. Not bad for the small turn out. There was quite a bit of people on the trail. We spoke with a few them and explained what we were doing. We helped others through some spots. They all seemed greatful for the clubs efforts on the trial. Dave handed out some club cards. The weather was good and kind of weird, snowing and sleet while the sun was out. But we still we had a great time. A big thank you to everyone that came out and supported the club today. We could not of pulled this off without your good can do attitude. Betty will send Lynda the sing up list and picture for the report.

Snow, sun, overcast & temperatures ranging from 37 to 57 was the weather for the run. Not your typical summertime weather pattern, even for high altitudes. We made V-Rock more like it used to be & another location more challenging, as Gil spoke of above. We made it up to the familiar location for lunch, with snow above. One passing Tacoma turned around a little above where we had lunch, so our decision to turn around & move rocks around was the right choice. Several other areas were typically eroded, exposing new & existing rocks more than last year, but no fallen tree removals & brush clearing needed.
Had only 1 Jeep lose it's 4WD capability (parked part way up & driver joined me for the remaining trip up). Overall productive, successful & fun. Great to be out again with others.
