We’re bringing chocolate chip cookies

Well…… I just went to get gas and my clutch cable broke. SO we won’t be able to make this run.

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

The Bronco did it. I can't say I'm impressed but I do like some of the amenities the 4x4 came with. I'm sure the next time you see it out we will be a little bit taller and wider but not by that much.

Great time with everyone. Great day to do this. Loved seeing the guy in the raptor bronco so excited to use his rig. And Jason's dog ripping the food right out of Dales plate while we all sit down for a nice bbq. Brian saving the bronco while I watched my wife stare in fear was priceless. Thanks everyone. Good times.

Made it home just before 6 pm. Congratulations to Jerry for becoming a full fledge member and thanks for the great member BBQ for lunch. We did some erosion mitigation by digging a trench and building a water bar. We put a few large rocks in one section to create an obstacle. Erosion has made some new, challenging sections. Lots of fun, teamwork and comradery.

Got home about 6, great day on the trail and great weather! It’s been about 25 years or more since I’ve been on Strawberry pass, I forgot how pretty it is. This was the first outing with Zip and he was a happy puppy, he didn’t like it much when the truck was bumping and rocking but he loves being outdoors. He says thanks to Dale for the cookie, he has never had people food and didn’t know what he was missing, he is also sorry for his bad manners. But he loves the people and especially kids and wrestling with Brian’s dog and the snow at the overlook that I’m sure he believes was put there just for his enjoyment. My truck (Clyde) didn’t fair so well and only because of me and trying to be clever, Clyde got a raspberry from Strawberry, I caved in the passenger door pretty good. Nothing to do with the trail or obstacles just me being foolish. It bent the door enough that it howled and screamed all the way home, I took it apart last night and popped it out enough I could straighten it up and the door seals up. A little wash and it will buff right out! The only thing missing was our other members and Stacey, it’s not the same without her. Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads and look forward to seeing everyone soon!
